Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) for Textile Sizing

Polyvinyl alcohol is used as a binder for textile pulp and fiber. It has very good adhesion and film-forming properties, is cheap and of high quality, and is mainly used for pulping pure polyester or polyester-cotton yarn, and is sometimes used together with acrylic pulp to pulp high-count pure cotton yarn. Polyvinyl alcohol is the main raw material for vinylon fiber, which is used to manufacture short fiber, long fiber, medium-strength medium-modulus, high-strength high-modulus, water-soluble fiber and other varieties. Among them, high-strength high-modulus vinylon fiber is considered to be a "green and environmentally friendly" high-tech material.
